For more than 10 years, your Board of Directors, under many user group names, has aggressively fought for you to ensure that your investments were protected and continued to evolve. As the PeopleSoft CRM Product User Group, the Fusion CRM User Group and the Oracle CRM Community, we have not deviated from our mission; to provide a forum for sharing information and expertise among ALL CRM users regarding the selection, implementation and effective use of Oracle CRM Applications. Due to philosophical differences, the Oracle Applications Users Group has determined that it is in their best interest to create a new CRM user community, www.crmconnect.org and in doing so, has made the decision to disaffiliate us. We are saddened by this turn of events because we strongly believe that this decision does not support the interests of our membership. Our organizations have invested millions of dollars in the purchases of Oracle CRM products and maintenance, and deserve access to Oracle resources without having to incur the additional expense of an OAUG membership or its associated conference fees. To that end, the Oracle CRM Community Board of Directors has made the decision to remain an independent user group for as long as you, our membership deem it necessary. Our transition activities will include a new look and feel to our website, a new compliment of vendor sponsors to support our efforts on your behalf and a thorough look at other affiliation opportunities. This Board is proud to serve and represent you and we will continue to do so with the integrity and respect that you deserve.
